Howden Show 2026 – Important Updates
Here’s everything you need to know about changes for Howden Show 2026:
New Ticketing System (Big Change!)
To improve safety and manage numbers on the showground:
For the best deals tickets can be purchased online in advance – they can also be bought on the day at the gates.
You’ll receive a QR code to scan on entry and exit
This helps organisers know how many people are on-site at all times
A system has been carefully chosen to keep things simple while keeping costs as low as possible for visitors.
Ticket Prices
Ticket prices have stayed the same for 6 years, but due to rising costs (around 19% inflation in that time), there will be a small increase this year. This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s necessary to keep the show going strong into the future.
Early Bird Offer:
Early Bird tickets are available to buy online until 21/06/20 and are still cheaper than last year’s gate prices—so booking oline early is the best way to save!
Recent Challenges
Poor weather during the 2024 and 2025 shows led to financial losses. While the show is secure for now, these changes help ensure it can continue for the next 150 years.
Enhanced Security
New legislation, the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 (Martyn’s Law), means the show is now a “Qualifying Event.”
You’ll notice:
Increased security checks
Additional boundary fencing
Thanks for your continued support—we can’t wait to see you at Howden Show 2026!
