Rare breed sheep
Skylark rare breeds was established 12 years ago with the aim to preserve animals that are listed with the Rare Breed Survival Trust.
Skylark have had different goats, pigs, cattle and poultry from the list, but decided to concentrate on sheep as they found them more enjoyable to show, promote and breed. At present Skylark have Lincoln Longwools, North Ronaldsys Portlands and throughout the year, not only for showing, but to display and promote their animals to educate and give children and adults the chance to get close and see the different characteristics of the rare breeds.
Skylarks are once again bringing a range of rare breed sheep. Visitors will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the rarest of sheep. Skylark will be on hand to help everyone and answer any questions budding shepherds might have!
